These greens aren't good for you
Our children are being urged to save the planet by TV and film characters but, asks Stuart Jeffries, won't this turn them into consumerist couch potatoes instead?
Interesting article, as CBeebies greens many of its chararcters (including Basil Brush!!) are we reinforcing the generation of "square eyed" children who oose the ability to concentrate?

An exciting and innovative new design that combines the ageless charm of a tree house with the excitement of being suspended above the ground. There is also the added ECO-FRIENDLY bonus that unlike traditional tree houses the Treepee doesn't damage with nails and screws going into the trunk and branches. Once zipped inside children can try and get their balance and have the fun of a surfing sensation without worries of falling and injuring themselves. The Treepee is UV protected to a factor of 50+ so children can play in it away from harmful UV rays. Tethers can secure the Treepee so it is less mobile. With pockets in the inside and a bag and pulley inside to pull supplies up from the ground the Treepee makes a perfect den! The windows have bug nets to allow circulation of air without letting in creepy crawlies. Specification details: Dimensions: 1.5m x 1.5m x 2.6m. A hanging height 0.5m is recommended Fabric is fire retardant, water repellent and PU coated and complies with the following EU safety standards for toy safety: EN71-1, EN71-2, EN71-3, BS7914
